Wow what a mess. Since we upgraded to 8.10 we are having a truk load of problems.
1. Everything is super slow. As I read it seems that most of the slow performance
is caused by LDAP service.
a. IMail administrator is so slow each time I want to display user information,
but is quite normal when I ask information about services or settings for
Anti-spam or stuff like that
b. The webmail and webcallendar takes ages to log you on, but once your logged
everything is fine... unless you try to administer users or hosts.
c. Before 8.10 I used to be able to use Directory Services lookup in mozilla for
adress completion. Now.. all I can get is LDAP search error.
I tried syncing the LDAP database, I tried to re-initialise the LDAP database.
I tryed to change LDAP port service to some other uncommon port... no succes..
( I though it might be in conflict with Windows LDAP event if this server is
not in Active Directory)
Is there a way to do a downgrade to version 8.05 ? I miss it so much.. it was working.
ps: sorry for the bit of flamming but it make me feel a bit better...
