I had a few issues with ldap, but with the userbase in general. If it is OK, ldap is 2 times faster as with the old one, and there are no errors as before after 10 or 20 matches. But as i can see, a lot of services need much more memory than before. How much memory does your machine have? Maybe this is a bottleneck ...
