They realize they have screwed up BADLY. Marketing got enamored with a couple of high end clients, and completely lost site of the core business.
I would love to be a fly on the wall of that hastily-called meeting today where the marketing guys are going to be boiled in oil. The marketing flaks may have just cost them the continued viability of Ipswitch.
