> Insert following fragment somewhere in the top of the imap_open > function in src/c-client/imap4r1.c I just tried to compile the debian source-package according to the instructions in the README. I did this: vol...@vs:~/uw-imap$ patch -p0 < \ uw-imap_2007b~dfsg-4+lenny3~bpo40+1.diff Added the line from your workaround and did: vol...@vs:~/uw-imap/uw-imap_2007b~dfsg.orig$ make ldb Everything compiles just fine, but theres no shared-library created in the c-client directory (only a c-client.a). Im only familiar with the basics of C and compiling packages and cant figure out, how to make the c-client a shared-library like libclient.so. How and with what flags did you compile the package to get a shared lib? > Enjoy, I'll do my best once i have it compiled and will definitely get back to you whether or not it works :-) - -- Volker -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJK1Z/CAAoJEGO2Yw0IrY3vzgYH+QEp0dR7alazzW9Jgbu3trlS PqLWvzlIi2Dqz0ewaiiQkkgrZLxsld9rOKv4GM6ZkSsXXACroamdSXIyzyLzdDij /7cl1oB+ZmD5QL89jwsIPWlwBISnaS08vANSC3Z0lCR1lSG9yWJe1/zYLrQR3qUk tgpJSkkrI+3ciEgwnEXuo8ycz4icyQNHkuPFlm/spn9gfWmFclEcNs3AmB49tuhD OsQJ6jL3ywTLQtT2Y6hx7SrlBOggvydXARnprmRgpajC5ksnJZT3jtz7hnoyRDXt a56ugU+auU8pXU1Qaz163celBazODDNPt2h19ns9FlrV59We9dvza7s1Ra480y4= =MIjk -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Imap-uw mailing list Imap-uw@u.washington.edu http://mailman2.u.washington.edu/mailman/listinfo/imap-uw
