searches over the ML but am sure there is a good probability they were
inadequate.]
Looking through this thread I havn't seen a lot about configuration
(beyond initial) and management (beyond package installation) of the
system. Somebody did throw NWAM at a the network config problem which
is interesting given I don't think it has a direct equivalent in the
Linux world. But that still leaves the tools people use to observe the
system. Yea ifconfig is there but I still fumble '/sbin/ifconfig -a'
occasionally (and thats just a surface difference). How far do you go
in this area to impedance match the two systems when there are
differences more then just skin deep (e.g. logical interfaces, smf, ...).
