In Denmark it's 25 vacation days a year, +5 personal days. If you
start fresh in a new company, you'd having nothing saved up but most
will simply get paid vacation money from their former employer. My
wife, who's Canadian, used to get two weeks + some personal days
whenever starting a new job and it takes 5 years to gain an extra
week; and if you get a new job, you're down to 2 again.

I've been told by friends that the only ones with a decent vacation in
US/Canada, are lawyers and schoolteachers.
