No not the dectalk access 32 is a software synthesizer.  That is fine it
does not use any special hardware it will make use of your sound card.  Thus
if the operating system supports the sound card you can use the dec access
32.  I am referring to special hardware synthesizers that mount inside the
computer.  Those I would think twice before purchasing.  Again this problem
with the operating system will not affect the dec access 32 so feel free, to
purchase a copy.
