This message is probably not specifically related to JFW, so I
appoligize.
I upgraded to JFW 3.20.19 and installed the 3.20.31 patch. I have
Netscape Communicator Professional Edition 4.05. When I used JFW 3.0 to
read the Netscape Mail messages: JFW read the entire message. After I
upgraded the JFW and went to read my email, the automatic read was gone.
I need to use the Ctrl+Down Arroww to read my messages. I put a message
on this list to get help and received a reply saying Netscape is not a
good email package and to try Eudora.
I installed Euroda Lite 3.06 and read the Welcome message in the InBox.
When I opened the message I had to use the Ctrl+Down Arrow to read the
message. It would be very helpful if JFW would start reading a message
when I opened a neww message.
When I got my cable modem I installed Netscape mainly as a change. I
have been using Internet Explorer. The cable modem is continuosly
connected throgh a LAN. I am not sure how to setup Eudora, since I kept
getting a "Can not Connect to ACAP..." error when I tried.
I do not find Netscape Messager to be so bad. My preference would be to
stay with Netscape since it is already setup. Can someone help me modify
the Netscape script to read messages automatically? Or setup Eudora to
use my cable modem and automatically read messages? From what I have
seen so far Eudora is a fine program. Please email me privately.
