Hi Tam,
I do it, but only by using Vocal-Eyes DTEXP.COM driver for the Dectalk
Express and not the drivers issued by Digital. You don't need to unload
JAWS, or anything like that.
To use it, you'll need first not to load the Digital drivers in your Autoexec.
Second, Go into JAWS Configuration Manager, INS-6, select Default
Configuration, CTRL-SHFT-D, type ALT-S for Settings, A for Advanced and
check the box which enables you to use a DOS screen reader in DOS window.
You may need to make some alterations to your MS-DOS Prompt settings, but
hopefully not. The important thing is that you should set to work in a DOS
Window (don't change to full sccreen, let the screen reader do this.) Now,
when you go into your DOS Prompt, you can either have a batch file defined
which loads your DTEXP.COM and then Vocal-Eyes, or load them manually if
you wish.
