When I ran Run-jaws-first, it really messed up my settings: couldn't read
the desktop, nor listboxes, nor dialogue boxes reliably. I am convenced it
was a timing issue.
When I've put jfw in the startup menu, things get better, but still shaky.
Therefore, I am comfortable with a hot key that runs jaws when I don't hear
any disk activity.
However, I don't have multiple users on my machine, and no need for a
password.
On the other hand, at work I need to enter a lan password, so I run jaws
first, but luckily, no timing issue here, it runs fine.
I guess I'm just living right.
