AMEN, and AMEN again...If they color you stupid, they'll have to color
me flat-out arrogant, and I'm sure some do! I have been testing both
JFW and GW Micro's Window-Eyes; and frankly, thus far I find that
Window-Eyes has it all over JAWS. For starters, Window-Eyes does not
cause crashes, lock-ups and those disgusting illegal operation messages
Windows seems to like to spray all over everywhere, especially when JFW
is running. Secondly, Window-Eyes doesn't require a complex scripting
language; and, though it doesn't interface well with every program on
the map, you can often make it do quite well with many applications if
you're willing to take the time to create pronouncing and graphics
dictionaries, along with some set files, which are made simply by saving
them. So you decide which is better.
Oh, by the way, Window-Eyes trusts its users enough to not mess you up
with authorization keys which can easily be lost through crashes, power
interruptions and, of course, floppy disk failures.
