Hi Walter,

Recently, I have noticed the same thing, and don't know why this is
occurring.  The work around I use is to maximize my child window, alt-dash
and X, and then the list of messages returns.  I do have to execute this
periodically, so if there is a permanent fix, I'd like to hear about it.
