Theresa is right here. All works fine doing it the way she suggests and
means that, if your BLT is connected at boot up, you will get Braille
straight away without having to change the Braille settings.
Les, in a previous message on this thread, you suggested it was not
necessary to re-install JAWS. In my experience, it is definitely necessary
because, if you just alter the JFW.INI file, you have no Braille tables
installed. Therefore, it is necessary, with the first Braille display you
install, that you re-install JAWS.
Before you install, you should have the BLT attached and turned on. Use
the AR+P on the BLT to go into the relevant Speech Box mode. When you have
finished with the BLT in that mode or wish to go to local mode, use AR+P
again.
