Hello,
I am a sighted teacher of the visually impaired. I am trying to learn jaws
so that I can teacher the other teachers in my district how to use and
teach jaws to their students.
I have several questions.
How do I get jaws to read the desktop icons? Several times, I minimized all
the applications to get to the desktop but jaws would not read the desktop
icons. I also couldn't get jaws to turn off and I would not read my links
list when I was in internet explorer. I rebooted the computer and now it
works normally again. Any ideas what might have happened?
Next question. If I am in internet explorer 5 and have finished reading the
page, how do I get back to the top of the page?
Next question. Could somebody explain to me about the insert-enter to find
50 or more characters of text. Sometimes it finds it and sometimes it doesn't.
One more question for now. When I load a web page and then go back to
another page and then reload the first page, jaws doesn't begin reading the
whole page. Is this supposed to happen? Why is this happening?
