There is no way in JavaScript to request loading of a SPECIFIC file by
name. Think of the consequences!
Instead, you open a dialog that fetches the file and tells Jmol what the
name of the selected file was.
So I guess
x= file("?")
is out for JavaScript.
Use
x = load("?")
to actually load the file. You will not know the name of the file that was
loaded (currently).
