I'm glad you came out of your quiet mode to answer my question. ;-) Did she at one time consider becoming a nun? (I heard her say this, I believe, you don't have to come out again,if you don't want to answer this) I always thought she was so funny (very quick wit) on those game shows back in the 70's. Then a few years ago, I'm watching the movie on tv with my sister and she related how FRIED GREEN TOMATOES was adapted from Fannie Flagg's, WHISTLE STOP CAFE. Hmm,I thought,interesting... because writers usually write about what they know/experience. A good flick and also I thought Kathy Bates was wonderful.
