with this whole "fried green tomatoes" thing, is anyone else as freaked out as i am? lets see now - the lesbian relationship details were left out of the movie to avoid offending people, but the whole murder of ex husband/disposal of dead body/"secrets in the sauce" thing could be left in and the sympathy for the characters concerned thing still worked..... when i mentioned the lesbian aspect to some folks i knew they got very offended. when i pointed out that they were prepared to accept cannibalism, but not lesbians, they got even more offended...... where the hell do the average persons priorities lie????? or did i just misunderstand "the secrets in the sauce"/"the barbecue was very good that summer" ?? ron
