I think sometimes he just creates visuals to stimulate the senses, which MD certainly does. Most of his films (and Twin Peaks as well) have a dream-like quality to them. I even find myself sometimes wondering if I really saw the film or just dreamed that I saw it!
Another GREAT film I saw this week..."The Good Girl" written and directed by the same folks who did the disturbing "Chuck & Buck". Jennifer Aniston puts herself on the map, great writing and performances, and certainly worthy of discussion. Bob
