Very easy listening kind of jazz pop and hardly ground-breaking I agree. Norah herself has said something along the same lines in an interview. Hardly bland though! The album takes a few plays. It is very nice and smoothe. I'm always very suspicious of commercial music but I like this and it is highly credible. She plays piano and does some of the writing but really it is a whole effort from the band.
