God (or, say, a psychic) may have a thousand vcr tapes, or images, or whatever, each one a POSSIBLE future. No problem with that. No incompatibility with choice.

But if god or the psychic KNOWS which choices we will pick, then there is no longer any choice.

If they know it, it must be true. We cannot know things that are false.

If it is true -- when god knows -- it that I will do X at point t2 in the future, then it is also true NOW that I will do X at point t2 in the future.

So I may FEEL I am making a choice - and I may spend years "deliberating", as I see it, whether to do the thing that god knows I will do -- but the sense of choice is illusory, because it is already an object of knowledge for god.

(I would hope that God uses cdr or something a bit more modern, of course --
saves all that time rewinding!!) But God knows precisely which choices that
you will pick, using your free will.
