Wow Jimmy!! I was waiting for your report and about to start nagging you ;-) I'm making this post njc because I'm feeling a little nervous lately, ahem.
If I may be so indiscreet, Jimmy asked me offlist about good questions to ask Croz at the show. I replied that even though I've had the opportunity to approach him in the past I haven't because something always intimidated me! I'm kind of shocked to hear of your and Mingus's experiences, though. But YES, Pevar and Raymond are *always* complete sweethearts (not to mention highly blessed in talent). He shouldn't have been looking down the nose at the venue. Paz and I just saw him at the Troub which is a dive (albiet an "historical" dive) that holds FAR less people. And he did make some less than nice remark about Joni at that show while talking to Graham that I won't repeat here (no use in propagating mean remarks in the bigger scheme of things). But like you said, their music is SO beautiful. This is where I give the cranky Croz a slight pass. He has always been a prickly one and we all know it. On the other side of the coin, he is an amazing talent and survivor and I can separate the talent from the personality with him. Still, I'd much rather chat with Peev and James anyday ;-) And congratulations on you and Jerry's and Floridian's Bucs win! I was very happy for you! Not that I'm into football, but hey! Kakki
