Hi Joe, I do appreciate your concern. However, when JS is not available in IE6, there is no way that a menu like this can be made to work as it does for modern browsers - at least not while using clean, semantic and valid mark-up. Therefore, if your accessibility needs require you to cater for this situation it is up to you to provide alternative access to the nested links in some other manner.
That said, I'd love to be proven wrong if you can find any examples. Joel Birch.
