This is neither a pinned app nor a quicklaunch, it's an Icon widget (as you can
see from it having "Remove Icon", and no "Configure" entry (both the task
managers and the quicklaunch widget have that).

If you actually use a pinned app, does the launch feedback work? (You can pin
an app from the Application Launcher widget, or by right-clicking an open
window of an app, then selecting "Pin to Task Manager".)

Though the launch feedback should also work for Icon widgets.
