I'm sure you;re right in your by the book way to thinking and doing so no 
argument.  That's the proper way of course.  You've got to understand, I've 
flown most of my life in the bush, always overloaded, little or no care about 
CG or gross weights, proper surfaces & distances for take off and landings.  It 
gives one a different perspective.  Also, I've lifted a lot of KR tails over 
the years.  You develop a feel.
