It's a pleasure to read this level of competence. Thanks Colin. For anyone's interest, I've got the Rosenhan wheels and brakes. I've changed fluid once in the last 16 years and have had no brake issues. I used aircraft hydraulic fluid (I don't remember my reasoning at the time) but it's still bright red, visible through the Nylon brake lines. Never a leak. They get very little use.
