The documents that Mike referred you to do discuss cable issues, though perhaps briefly enough that you missed it when you read them. To connect 2 computers, you need either a null-modem cable or a regular cable with a null-modem adapter ... this is not a LEAF or even a Linux issue, but a standard bit of PC hardware lore.
Unless you are interested in building your own cable, there isn't much point in including diagrams or pictures; you get the right cable or adapter by reading the labels on the packages at the store. If you do want to build your own cable, I'm sure a Google search will direct you to any of the many hardware sites that discuss how to do this. At 10:15 AM 5/21/02 -0500, Omar D.
