Hi I need to control a local ADSL Ethernet modem from a script.
I can manually access the modem using either telnet or nc, however I want to be able to script a reboot sequence. To do this I need something like chat (ppp modem script). I have looked at chat, nc and bash /dev/tcp /dev/tcp does not seem to work on leaf - do I need to set something up here? Also I am not up to speed on bash redirected i/o Can anyone give me any tips or help in getting something together?
