Overall I thought that was a really good performance. The whole game was fast
paced as QPR tried to play like us from the back but just weren’t as effective
and despite looking good going forward at times they didn’t cause us any
problems. I think Eze is a top player though. We had to foul him continuously
to stop him at times.

It was a great team performance with nobody having a bad game. Yes there were
many misplaced passes and a few bad misses (Klich volley unmarked in the box
and Bamford one on one , good defensive tackle that from their guy).

I thought Cooper, White and Ayling were terrific at the back and Harrison
playing as a left back got a goal and did lots of good work.

My scores would be

Casilla - 7. Nothing to do, flapped terribly at one cross.

Ayling - 8. Very good defensively and contributed going forward.

Cooper - 9. Didn’t put a foot wrong. First to every ball and challenge.

White - 9. He’s not put a foot wrong all season. Pontus who ?

Harrison - 7. Did well in different position. A bit lucky with the goal.

Philips - 7. Lots of good work, some decent deliveries on the other hand a shit
free kick and I thought at times he looked a bit flat footed against pace in
midfield.

Klich - 7. Busy, energetic, good link up play. Should have scored. If only he
could get a bit of confidence back in front of goal.

Costa - 6.5 If you think about it , he didn’t do anything that really hurt the
opposition but he was busy, got on the ball, moved around, ran back and
covered. I’m hoping there’s more to come from him.

Roberts - 9. My MOTM. Intelligent player, great control, sees an early pass and
always has time of the ball which is the sign of a confident player. His goal
said it all. Most would have smashed it but he passed it into the next from 12
yards. Clever goal. He could/ should have had a hat trick but overall I thought
he was the main reason that we looked slicker and less predictable today.

Dallas - 8. Thankfully he didn’t get switched to left back. I thought he was
impressive in midfield. Lots of good touches , good runs, link up play and
defensive duties. In this team, especially today, everyone was playing
everywhere moving forward and backwards together. I couldn’t tell you where a
Dallas was playing because he was everywhere.

Bamford - 7. Listening to the radio Leeds phone in after the game where it was
50-50 between fans who thought Bamford wasted chances, never looked like
scoring and has now hasn’t scored in the last 10 and should be replaced versus
the fans who thought he worked his bollox off, linked up well, ran back and
defended when required and was unlucky in front of goal especially with his
disallowed header. I think the latter.. I thought without Eddie breathing down
his neck from the bench he knew he would be playing the full game and overall I
thought his performance was much improved. I still think Eddie is too good to
be on the bench but on this performance Bamford does not deserve to be dropped.

Subs:

Hernandez - jeez he was awful. His freekick was terrible.
Davis - what a great little player this lad could be. Made a real impact.

Top, top , top of the league. Pub and fireworks now. Have a great weekend.
