The 'wiping out' you describe is tantamount to defrauding the government,
the council, the police service, the ambulance service, Leeds Poly, St
John's ambulance and numerous other charities - but if you think that's a
good thing then you certainly cede the moral high ground and I would
question your own morality. Perhaps you too would sell your own grandmother
if the circumstances decreed.

Leeds still went bust, however Bates tarts it up - in fact if it hadn't been
for Bates and his good pals at Astor we would be out of administration NOW!
We don't need Bates to come out of administration, so don't pretend we do!

To who's gain? Yours?

No, I was more thinking of the owners of Boo's mobile disco (stand to lose
£2600) and New Burley Window Cleaners (£3500) and numerous others who make
up the 60 page document. This is their livelihood we are talking about. They
provided their services in good faith and Uncle Ken quite possibly never
intended to pay them. As far back as March he must have been planning not to
pay the HMRC April instalment, so one can assume that Leeds United probably
didn't pay another bill from the end of the last tax year for fear of being
accused of preferential treatment (which is a crime). It therefore follows
that the milkman, the caterers, the paper shop, the petrol station, the
window cleaners, the mobile disco and anyone else who dealt with leeds
united on account provided goods for which they DID NOT get paid after Bates
had defaulted. Now £2600 may not be a lot to you southerners BUT up here in
the hard working north it's around 2 months wages. So pray tell Mr Bursa how
does Boo pay his mortgage now?

How sympathetic is Bates? I bet NBWC and Boo's Disco don't think he's very
sympathetic.

I take it you've seen Bates' plan then.

What about phoney octogenarians intent on ripping off the club, the fans and
the local community?

You have me at a disadvantage sir, you obviously are part of the inner
sanctum and are privy to information which is not in the public domain.
Please enlighten me as to what information you base your decision upon.

If Bates is not the best option then what the fcuk are you arguing about?

Cheers
Paul
