The club isn't for sale. Bates maintains he's "here for the long haul" (despite refusing an embarrassment clause of more than 6 months). He wants "investors"; ie people to introduce money to help the running of the club. If you invest money in LUFC, who will benefit? Nobody knows because we don't know anything about some companies associated with the club. Would you trust Bates with your money? How much of a say in the running of the club would you get for your money? I think one thing we all agree on is that all listers have a passion for LUFC - but if any of us had £10m spare to invest in LUFC, how many of us would feel confident about doing that while Bates is around? - Sean _______________________________________________ the Leeds List is an unmoderated mailing list and the list administrators accept no liability for the personal views and opinions of contributors.
