not sure what you mean by carriage clearance but as far as y axis yes it is 
long enough to suit your extension the original y axis rails have 2 inches 
of travel past center I just checked , so you will still have a half inch 
to spare.not sure about the gears, you will have to try them and see if 
there will still be enough adjustment length to suit them all but im fairly 
sure there will be
it looks very good so far by your drawing you might be making 2 lots of 
these brackets yet hint hint lol.
I do encourage you to put a few inches longer y axis rails on the revo too, 
makes the mill more versatile for liner work on a table too i used 2 rails 
from 2 template rail mounting kits it was the cheapest way to buy rail at 
the time
