Thank you, Sherry. To generate unique numbers for each individual, linking them as couples, it would be nice to be able to generate MRIN-RIN in the User ID field.
It's difficult for me to consider basing my genealogy organization based on a number that could shift. I have over 9,000 in my database. I really like the concept of organizing by marriages ... it makes a lot of sense. That way, those numbers won't get blown away. There's no way to turn that option off other than using the Standard Edition. It's a Deluxe feature.
