There is no way to quickly/automatically renumber all your RINs in the
manner you want (closest relatives, lowest RINs).  You will have to do
it one RIN at a time. (To renumber RINs, click on Tools on the menu bar
and select Renumber RINs.)


You can export the close relatives to another file, then you can automatically renumber them all so they have low RIN numbers. Then add the rest of the original file, and all those numbers will be higher. You can even enter them in small groups, and thus set the range of numbers for each input. However, RIN numbers are entirely reference for the computer, so why bother?
