If MRINs ever get renumbered, it would foul up my filing, but I don't ever intend to do that (nor let Legacy do it). The one time that would happen is if I had to rebuild by Legacy file by copying it into a new Legacy file, which I hope I never have to do. Even then, I would do it and then use my paper records to renumber the MRINs to what they now are (I have renumbered all of my direct ancestor MRINs in a pattern; it took some work, but I like it).
