You don't need 2 menus with split screen. The "active" database will have the title bar colored so it is obvious and the other open database window title bars will be dimmed. Prior versions of Legacy allowed for up to 9 databases to be open simultaneously even though it was pretty crowded on screen. The current help file for version 8 states that up to 6 databases can be open at the same time.
The "active" database is the one that the menu will affect. You can't execute more than 1 menu at the same time anyway so just click the title bar of the window you want to use and then whatever menu commands you want for that window.
