I have 1 giga memory in my computer (Windows XP)

Before I start Legacy 6.0 I have 720 mega free (running some picture programs)

After starting Legacy 6.0 I have about 668 mega free, depending on what I tries to do in the program.

That says the Legacy is only using about 52 mega, and that should not be a problem on any computer.

Best regards

I thought about that, but I do have plenty of spare memory and I've
tried shutting down absolutely everything excpept SysTray and Explorer,
but I still have the same problem. On the other hand at the moment I've
deliberately opened a lot of applications. I have PhotoShop 7.0 open
with a 57 MB image on the screen, a Word document, two email
applications and my browser and the system is working just fine. It's
only when I launch Legacy I have problems. Even with Legacy on its own
with nothing else working, I get the Run-time error when I try to open a
window followed by another in Legacy. For example if I open the Research
Guidance window and then try to open the Edit window I get the Runtime
error. I just can't use Legacy at all on my system as I limited to the
main screens. I'd be happy to buy extra memory if that's what it takes,
but if other people with twice the memory that I have are having the
same problems it might not fix the problem.

From my experience, 224 meg of memory just isn't enough to run much of
anything. Your computer is probably using way over half of that just to
run the stuff that makes it work. Memory is inexpensive, particularly
if you order it from the internet. If you add 256 meg, you will see an
obvious improvement in what your computer can run plus everything will
run faster.
