Right; I understand. An admirable "wish" for the future, thought I
wouldn't hold your breath considering they haven't gotten around to even
basic multiple sourcing within notes and that has been requested since
version 2.

I want to be able to send descendant narrative reports for various people to
different members of the family, and I want them to contain brief biographies
of the persons on the list. Treepad can't do that.
I'm not looking for workarounds. I'm just asking it to be considered as a
feature for future versions of Legacy.
It would mean one more memo field attached to individual records, which is no
big deal from the point of view of database design, though it would mean
changes to reports, data entry screens etc.
