Keep in mind that copier images, laser printers, and inkjet printers are all quite new, and that the life of the images is NOT what you find with a pen and indelible ink, or even a pencil.
Inkjet printing fades...some much faster than others. There are archival inks that should help, but none has had the opportunity to stand the test of time. Laser printers and copiers are both subject to "lifting" - the image pulling off the paper. If you've ever pulled apart a stack of copied documents that has been in storage for a few years, compressed tightly, you've probably seen the effect. Fading may be an issue here too. I'm not suggesting that you don't print out your information...quite the contrary, just that you take some care regarding the paper, the ink, and so forth to maximize the chance of it being readable. And remember that you may have to "refresh" the printed copies at some point as well. Having digital AND paper copies seems the best policy in the long run. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of John R.
