Oh, touché! You are quite right!
So the only really reliable way to "backup" to paper is to take the
document to a professional printer and have him/them print it on
a real press with real ink! I think we are now talking serious money.
Now what about my dot matrix printer that uses an old fashioned
ink ribbon? There are also now some photo printers whose
manufacturers claim that their inks are archival and will last 100+
years. I wonder about them.
