Well my L100 is running a stock full install of Win98 with Toshiba's FIR driver (in 
fact IIRC its the Win95 FIR driver on there) and the Infrared Recipient appeared on 
'my computer'. The other laptop is running its factory install of WinME (its a 
Satellite 3001).
