i've tried it, lots of time, but it returns:

# depmod -a
depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.19/kernel/drivers/s390/qeth.o

qeth.o is really qeth-2.4.19-s390-1-may2002.o

i think that something is broken.....but i dont know what
