Mark, some comments on the qeth IDX terminate cause codes mentioned in this thread:
1. 0xf6 layer2/layer3 mismatch error short term solution: recent qeth patch to come up with a meaningful message discussed long term solution: let qeth choose the appropriate layer; Such a solution would require changes in Linux qeth driver and z/VM. 2. 0x04, 0x08, 0x17 If those error codes are seen with latest versions of Linux and z/VM, the problem should be reported. Otherwise upgrading service level may help. 3. 0x4e If you have a scenario to run into 0x4e, we should analyze this in detail.
