Because if it wasn't for the GENIUS OF BILL GATES, it would have
taken normal, mere mortals 135 years.

My system works better with Windows than Linux.

Linux recognises the second net card but failed to configure it. It also
isn't aware of my USB Hub, my scanner, my web cam. Windows works will
all of these once I install the drivers. Unfortunately, there doesn't
appear to be a driver for my USB hub.

I had to wait for XFree86 to get support for my Voodoo 5500 card. Your
ATI Rage Pro is getting a bit long in the tooth, isn't it?

Yep, it's getting there, but not there yet.

And I take it that, since these are servers, they don't run any kind of
Desktop?

Do any run X + KDE 2.0? If they do, tell me, how buggy this set up is?

Yeah, really disingenuous. I suppose it doesn't matter to Microsoft that
.NET is presently unreleased: at most it is a strategy, not a product.
Here's a recent commentary on .NET by probably the most respected Windows
journalist (and supporter) on the Internet:

http://www.win2000mag.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=16127

"The goal of .NET is to transition Microsoft-and the rest of the industry-to
a new model for software development, software deployment, and revenue
growth."
