Matthew exposes himself as the idiot he is. In his zeal to "expose" the
conspiracy of wording, his ignorance of the words "vulnerability" and
"Service" are shown. Never mind the fact that MS uses the term "hot fix"
for interim patches (between service packs).

The real reason it's called a "Service pack" is that it often includes new
features, and not just fixes. For instance, One NT4 service pack included a
new form of threading called "Fibers" (similar to Posix threads).

All this coming from the guy that thought the i810 GART issues were simply
"fixed" by a new version of XFree. He doesn't even know much about his OS
of choice, how can he be making any credible statements about any other OS?

Quibbling again. Why?

BTW you are again wrong. Get a good dictionary. "Yet" also means "again"

Yes. You may say they are not making a very good job, or you may say their
protection is insufficient, but there's no doubt they are protecting the
people.

>If you ask one of the crime victims, would he/she say that the
>police protected him/her?

Apparently we have this difference of interpretation. By "protecting
the people" I simply mean "reducing the danger for the people" while
you seem to mean "eliminating the danger for the people".

Since that is a fairly reasonable use of the term, and I was the
one who introduced it, I would consider this particular quibble
cleared.

It's an effect of their actions. Therefore it's something they achieve.
Doing something by indirect means is still doing it.

Notice I did not say "the police" but "the government". I will
not go down this tangent.

Non sequitur. You advocate "slavery" and the assasination of "enslavers"
without trial. Be honest and kill yourself.

Yes, in all cases I can think of right now.

Bzzt. The state can not sell you. You can abandon the state. You can
change states. Analogy awful.

Sorry dude, that's the dictionary. Are you humpty dumpty?

Not much. All it means is that one is subject to a subject.

They are not even *alike*. And since you support taxes for the support
of the army, that makes you an "enslaver" by your definition. Go kill
yourself. You have the guns to do it.
