As I said, this weekend I'll definitely spend the needed time to update my libkarma setting and try to reproduce all the recently reported troubles. I'll let you know if I find something. > BTW threadjack - EV, I saw your name attached to a transmitter > on lirc.org the other day; is that yours? Yea, it's mine ;) I devised it 8 years ago as I started to get sick of the so many cables growing fast around my computer. > Neat circuit, I built it 2+ years ago for my mythtv box to > control the cable and used it until I gave up on the cable > company. Glad it was good for you ;) I've been using it exactly until last month, when I definitely switched my venerable PIII-450Mhz computer off and started using a VIA EPIA silent box instead. Unfortunately, the EPIA doesn't provide standard voltages on its serial port :( I'm now thinking what to do about that, as I do need a lirc transmitter to control my home HI-FI set, which has become so complex that it is impossible to manage without a computer dispensing the required IR commands here and there... [well, fortunately enough, I still have my AgVr3's around (http://agendawiki.com/cgi-bin/aw.pl?CIRinfraRedHowTo)] Best, EV. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
