Not rude at all!

I will put a little time into updating project files and perhaps post them
on github or somewhere for people to use.
I think it'll be a better use of my time than battling ant.

Once I'm done with this I'll re-visit the socketappender bug I saw,
hopefully it will be fixed, if not we can open a bug report.
