Unfortunately, the low profile PSU is the main problem.  There look like
costing about $80.  Maybe a bit less in volume. .  It is beautifully built
though, with suck and blow, silent fans. BTW I also intent to have filters
on the air inlet.
  The board I expect to use is the P6ISM from ESC which you guys in the US
of A may be able to get even cheaper than my volume purchase.  This board
has video, net, sound, usb, joystick, and modem (daughter board), all on the
main board.
  I am also considering putting the clients r/o f/s on flash disk.  I can
get a 32MB one with a write protect switch for about $40.  Comments please.
Is the reduced height worth an extra $40 ?  2 1/2" as opposed to 4".  Is
"connectors to front" any benefit ?.  Given that you need over 3" space at
back for vga plug anyhow,  the front cover would extent that much to the
front instead.
