I did not follow this thread, so please excuse me if I say something stupid (again!). Could it be that tftp is not allowed in /etc/hosts.allow ? On my system, using inetd, I have: [root@tanatos ~]# grep tftp /etc/hosts.allow # 192.168.2.0/255.255.255.240 LTSP - tftp, dhcp, bootp, nfs, nis, portmap, telnet in.tftpd: 192.168.2.0/255.255.255.240 Sandro -- Bellum se ipsum alet.
