I downloaded Fedora onto my 'play' box and couldn't get the 3C905 card to work (not exactly a rare card). I typed 'Fedora 3C905' into Google and immediately got the answer - a conflict between kudzu and the card - chkconfig kudzu off, and the card's ok. So, Fedora's QA and pre-release testing is lousy - boo But here is an active and knowledgeable user base - hooray You pays your money (or don't for Fedora) and you takes your choice.
