I have now tried to get localdev in 4.2 working on both a Fedora Core 5 system and an OpenSuse 10.1 system and had the exact same problem with both distributions:
The USB drives work perfectly on each login, but my floppy drive does not show up on the 2nd login and requires a reboot to fix. I have followed the trouble-shooting guide and attempted to debug with the little knowledge I have--but I haven't found a solution. Anyone have any ideas for me to try?
